Enable Khalti payment
Khalti is an emerging online payment solution in Nepal. It allows users to pay for a range of services.
To enable Khalti as a payment gateway for your store, you will first need to
signup as a merchant with Khalti.
Once you signed up, go to
Account >
Keys to get your test API keys
Once you have successfully performed a few transactions with the test keys, Khalti generates the live keys, which you can then use for live transactions
Once you have the test keys, follow the guide below to enable Khalti in your store
- From the main menu, go to Configuration
- Click on Payment Methods
- Find the section that says Online Gateways and click Add a gateway
- Now find Khalti and click on the Activate button. You will see the configuration popup
- Enter the public and secret key you for from Khalti merchant panel into the respective fields
- Check the Enabled checkbox
- Click Save
Once you have done a few transactions, go to Khalti merchant panel. You will see your live keys. Replace the keys in your store admin with the live one to start accepting live transactions
