Enable Cash on Delivery and Cash on Pickup

If you need to be able to allow your customer for Cash on Delivery or allow your users to place an order and pay when they come to pick up at your store, you can enable these manual payment methods.
When a customer uses Cash on Delivery or Cash on Pickup, the order stays in Unconfirmed state and the payment state of the order will be AWAITING_PAYMENT. This is because there is no payment involved and anyone can place these orders. General practice is that you contact the user and confirm the order.
To enable Cash on delivery or Cash on pickup
  1. Click on configuration from the main menu
  2. Click on Payment Methods
  3. Scroll to the bottom where you see Manual methods and click Add a manual method
  4. You will see a popup with the available manual payment method.

  5. Click the Activate button of the method you want to activate.
  6. Check the enabled box
  7. Click Save
